Dazzling. To adapt someone’s line about Lester Bangs: you might not expect some of the best writing of the 1990s to appear in a 350-word review of the first Suede album, but there it is. Reminds me what an absolute travesty it is that More Brilliant Than The Sun remains out of print. I see the paperback is going for $553 on Amazon at the moment. Which makes me even more irritated that I lost my copy!
