ReplyDeleteGiven where Morley started, it is quite funny that his latest incarnation is as an apostle of Classical music, telling everyone to listen to Debussy and Ravel. He who f***s nuns, I suppose. Although perhaps the Thomas Mann references in that Bauhaus review were a clue as to where he would one day end up.
It is a strange journey for sure.
