Lou Stathis did a music column in the s.f. comix magazine Heavy Metal for a number of years, with a focus on what we would now probably call postpunk but that he thought of as the rok / sf interface - a lineage from the artier end of glam and prog (Eno, Fripp etc) through new wave, synthpunk, industrial etcetera. Future stuff. Sharp dude, RIP. My buddy Pat Blashill turned me onto his work.
